Most of the commands in the File menu should be familiar to you because they are standard for Windows applications.

New

New command allows to create a new document. The available choices are a Normal Text document or a HTML page. To check what you new options are added. add C/C++, perl, and Java to here.

Open

Open command allows to open an existing document.

Close

Close command closes the active document.

Save

Save command saves the active document.

Save As

Save As command allows to save the active file under a different name, file extension or in an alternative location.

Recent File

Recent File command shows a list of the files you have worked with recently. If there are such files, they will be listed here. If there are no recent files, you will see the Recent File menu item instead of a list of files. You can choose how many files to be included in the list from the View|Options menu.

Project

Project command allows you to manage your projects. The Project menu has several submenus: Open, Save, Save As, Close, Recent Project. You can choose how many projects to be included in the list from the View|Options menu.

Print

Print command is for printing the active document. You can choose to print the whole document or only a selected part.

Print Setup

Print Setup command opens a dialog box where you can choose which printer to use and the paper orientation.

Print Preview

Print Preview command shows how the document will look when you print it.

Exit

Exit command closes TurboEditor.
